Add images in Orkut Scrap

Now you can add an image while you scrap one of your buddy and let him suprise… Adding an image is Scrap is simple and its just a code that places an image in scrap.

Just type the followind code in the SCARP

[link=http://renatorodrigues.com/img?i=yourimageurl]yourimageurl[/link]

Example:

[link=http://renatorodrigues.com/img?i=http://a.com/img.jpg]http://a.com/img.jpg[/link]

Please don’t change the url renatorodrigues.com, i got this idea from the great work of Raver who designed Orkut toolbar.

[update] This Trick Works no more after the change in Orkut’s Interface that happened 2 weeks before.

[update 2 on  12/08/07] Orkut now allows graphics, Videos and html in scrap. To know more about it read here !

    PROBLEM … with that trick is that its purely browser dependent. U wont see the image if u observe the same scrap with IE

    by the way i forgot to mention that it works only with Firefox.

    Sorry guys that trick was old one , i think you all might have heard the recent change in orkut’s Interface 2 weeks before… We come across a new trick we are first to post about it… Until then for firefox users you can check this orkut toolbar extenstion https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/516/

    to my friends using IE on 14th August 2006. And let me say that the scraps showed the animated image. But by the midnight, they disappeared and were replaced by this link to url.

    hey,,all this place looks nice,, I wanted to know,,if there was a way to add images in orkut scrap. ( I use IE ,so is there a way to get all IE users to see the picture, it would be a great help,,,thanks)

    ita easy to hack orkut; if a person study it carefully he can easily hack;
    i know its tough but if u study the urls then i think u can easily study.
    and u can add imaegs to u r scrap too.
    no need to request any one.

    u can do everything, liek adding scrap with images/gif/png from your websites. etc

    HAcking Orkut is not so hard.

    the code which i posted in my blog is outdated. now you don’t have to worry about adding the images and videos in youtube.

    its simple by using < img > tag and you can display a image. for displaying video in the scrap, just paste the youtuve video code which is available at the top right corner of youtube page. for any assistance do comment me , i will help you.

    no a big deal it depends upon what u want to add ~ even small flash photo can be send ~ but the size of the file must be so that ORKUT is able to support it ! just copy and paste link on ur scarp book and enter ur done !

    Mr. Saikat Sinha don’t conclude yourself as intelligent. i have posted this post on july 2006 which means during the pre developed stage of orkut. Now recently orkut has introduced HTML support. So this is not my problem that u visted an outdated post and comment unusally without seeing the date of the post.

    I have seen (New Orkut) simply copy the image already on orkut and paste it to scrapbook and image appears with no problem(IE).

    So u may upload ur images in orkut and then just copy-paste in scrapbook
    It even copies ur profile pictures, images from others profies, etc
