  • Download Unofficial DirectX 10 for Windows Xp and other OS.

    After the DirectX 9.0c there are no further versions expected to be released for Windows Xp based OS because Microsoft is concentrating on DirectX 10 which is only compatible with Windows Vista. The question that pops in your mind is will I be able to install DirectX 10 in my XP based operating system?

    To resolve your confusion, Cody Brocious of Falling Leaf systems has started a project called Alky which was mainly based on enabling the compatibility of playing Direct X 10 based games in your current operating platform. They have extracted a set of library files from the DirectX 10 and thus make it available for download and usable in Windows XP and other operating systems.

    Not everyone can afford Windows Vista and will be upgrading just to compromise for gaming. So the main catch about this project is they developed a set of libraries that will allow the use of DirectX 10 games on platforms other than Windows Vista, which when used in Vista increases the hardware compatibility.

     

    The libraries act as a proxy to all Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) accessed by an application. This enables us to redirect API requests to existing platform functionality or custom implementations as needed. The libraries also allow us to integrate application-specific logic enabling users to explicitly define application behavior

  • Sultan the warrior – India’s first expensive animated movie

    After successfully watching Sivaji on First day in First show, I was bit amazed at the beginning when I saw the below trailer running before the screen. Well actually Sultan the warrior is India’s first expensive animated movie that is being done on a personality not a simple personality but South India’s great icon Mr. Rajnikanth. This animated movie is produced by his daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth who is the managing director of Ocher Studios. For the first time they are joining hands with AdLabs.

    Before talking about the film, lets sneak peek the trailor so that you will understand a bit.

    Unlike animation movies like Hanuman etc this movie is powered by 3D like sherk, antz etc. India is vastly developing and competing in all sectors especially film industry compete Hollywood soon. Sultan the warrior features Rajinikanth as a myth hero who powers adventures with his charisma and style that we all melt for on seeing. This is not only a full length animation movie but also a sneaked information shows that they are going to release it as pc game. This animated movie is expected to release next year that is on 2008.

  • Sony Ericsson k850 the 5 mp camera phone – preview

    After the rival Nokia releasing its N95 with 5 Megapixel camera phone, Sony Ericsson came from to introduce the same 5 Megapixel camera in its cyber shot series. This phone is expected to launch during the season of Christmas probably during december 2007.

    An overview study about the technical specifications of this phone shows that it has a XENON Flash with 16x digital zoom and auto focus. Unlike other connectivity options, this gadget contains 3G connectivity with HSDPA (fastest transfer technology). Reg Hardware reports that k850 has 40 Mb inbuilt memory but it comes bundled with a 512 Mb card.

    The special feature of this camera is that it allows taking five successive pictures of a take and gives the ability to pick the best out of them. I will post more detail about the phone including its price once it is stepped into the market.

  • Pierce your ear this summer as I did!

    earpiercing.gifI am already fed up with my study holidays with 10 days remaining for the university exams and the hot climate made my day very long and slow. So just for a change I thought of doing something different and as a result, i pierced my ear. The idea suddenly striked my mind that i should pierce ears.  At last I started my bike, went to the nearest men’s parlor and pierced my ear.

    Will it be really painful?

    No! Not even a bit. With modern standards of ear piercing and its instrument you won’t even feel a bit pain while piercing. A special type of medicated gel is applied over the area to be pierced, which after a while makes the area insensitive. With an ear piercing instrument which looks like a gun, your ear will be pierced less than a second without feeling even a micro pain.

    Why should you pierce your ear?

    World is changing everywhere and so do you, with the change in modern history and social attitude why don’t switch yourself? Fashion is not permanent which means you don’t have to worry about your ear. Some see the practice as a form of artistic or self-expression. Others choose to be pierced as a form of sexual expression, or to increase sexual sensitivity. I am not forcing you into other body piercing while ear piercing is just a trendy way to show you.

    Will other bother about your ear being pierced?

    Who cares about others? It’s all your personal attitude and interest. Personal attitudes vary actually because some regard the practice of piercing or of being pierced as spiritual but I pierced for modern primitive.
